Just about a year ago, I wrote an article exploring the ins and outs, ups and downs, benefits and challenges of a hybrid work model. At that time, many businesses were still feeling their way and finding their footing in the post-pandemic world. I’m pretty much an expert on this topic since our marketing agency, Base Beauty Creative Agency, was virtual from day one (16 years ago!). But as we have grown, our COO Aleni Mackarey, Ph.D., MS, and I have gradually transitioned our team to a hybrid style we call “mostly work from home” (MWFH). I thought it would be helpful to repost this article now that we’ve all had another year of managing this new-ish working model. My observations and experiences remain valid as businesses have traveled further down this unpaved road, perhaps a little smoother than before due to more traffic, but still presenting plenty of ruts and speed bumps.
